Welcome to the Rachael Clunie Millinery Retreats — immersive, intimate experiences created for milliners and passionate creatives who want to step away from everyday life and completely immerse themselves in their craft.

Each retreat features a carefully selected guest designer, bringing their own unique perspective,
techniques and creative expertise.Our guest designers are practising professionals with individual
styles and areas of expertise, giving you the opportunity to learn directly from some of the most
exciting names working across millinery, fashion, film and theatre.The teaching is intimate and
hands-on, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, experiment and receive individual guidance.

Our millinery retreats take place at a beautiful château in the heart of Burgundy, France — an idyllic setting in which to step away from everyday life and immerse yourself in creativity.
Surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of the French countryside, the château provides the perfect backdrop for an inspiring week of millinery, relaxation, wonderful food and creative connection.
With elegant surroundings, beautiful gardens and space to work, relax and enjoy the company of fellow creatives, the setting becomes an important part of the retreat experience.

Places on our retreats are deliberately limited.
Keeping the groups small allows us to create a relaxed, personal atmosphere and ensures that everyone has the opportunity to work closely with the guest designer and receive individual attention.
It also means that friendships and creative connections naturally develop throughout the week.
