2025
BURGUNDY, FRANCE
WITH MAOR ZABAR
Set within the beautiful Burgundy countryside, our 2025 Luxury Millinery Retreat brought together a wonderful group of milliners for seven days of creativity, learning and château life.
Under the expert guidance of internationally renowned milliner Maor Zabar, guests spent five immersive days exploring sculptural felt, Sinasilk flower making and specialist techniques, with plenty of time to experiment, develop ideas and create their own individual pieces.
Beyond the atelier, the week was about so much more than millinery. From leisurely meals and evenings together at the château to exploring local markets and the surrounding Burgundy countryside, there was time to relax, connect and enjoy everything this beautiful part of France had to offer. Guests enjoyed massages in the château’s treatment room, relaxed in the sauna and steam room, and made the most of the beautiful grounds — the perfect balance to five wonderfully creative days in the atelier.

2024
OCCITANIE, FRANCE
WITH MAOR ZABAR
Set amongst the beautiful landscapes of Occitanie in the South of France, our 2024 Luxury Millinery Retreat brought together a wonderful group of milliners for a week dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship and shared inspiration.
Under the expert guidance of internationally renowned milliner Maor Zabar, guests immersed themselves in specialist techniques, spending their days creating, experimenting and developing new skills in a relaxed and inspiring environment.
A highlight of the week was our visit to Caussade for the Estivales du Chapeau, the town’s renowned hat festival. Surrounded by milliners, makers and hat lovers from across the world, guests had the opportunity to explore exhibitions, discover new work and celebrate the extraordinary creativity and craftsmanship of millinery.
Beyond the workshop, there was time to enjoy the slower pace of life in the South of France — sharing meals, relaxing together and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It was a week filled with creativity, conversation and laughter, with friendships formed around a shared love of millinery.
Seven days of making, discovering and experiencing millinery together — and the beginning of something very special.
